I work with various psychological issues. You can approach me for support in crisis situations, such as relocation, migration, divorce, illness, etc.
I help individuals identify resources to address current life challenges and achieve a sense of satisfaction and integrity.
One of the most common requests relates to relationships or their absence. Primarily, I assist in establishing a relationship with the most important person – ownself. This involves understanding negative patterns, transforming them, restoring self-worth and integrity, which generally leads to positive changes in relationships with partners, society, and even finances.
In my work, I utilize methods from Jungian Analytical Psychology, Family Systemic Therapy, Coaching, Symbol Drama, Emotional Imagery Therapy (EIT), Transactional Analysis, Rapid Personal Transformation (RPT), personality typing with Arcana (major Tarot cards), and metaphorical cards.
Additionally, I am a certified Kundalini yoga teacher, allowing me to incorporate body-oriented tools when necessary.
I conduct private practice in-person and online.
EDUCATION
I obtained my education at the Institute of Practical Psychology and Psychoanalysis in Moscow.
My specialization was in Psychological Counseling, Psychocorrection, and Psychotherapy.
As a part of this program, I underwent practical training at the Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology, named after N.N. Blokhin, part of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (RAMS), located in Moscow. During this time, I provided consultations for parents of the children undergoing treatment.
Basic psychoanalytic education
I see how using this method of asking open-ended questions helps to establish better contact with myself, my needs, and values, both for me and my clients.
I have deep love for Kundalini Yoga. Jacob Marschak introduced Kundalini Yoga to Russia and used it in his work at a hospital for working with individuals struggling with addiction. This is just one of the many applications of this practice. I am a certified Kundalini yoga teacher, which allows me to incorporate body-oriented tools for working with trauma when necessary.
Certificate in Kundalini Yoga Teaching
Catathymic-Imaginative Therapy at the Academy of Reparation Psychology, EIT (Emotional-Imaginative Therapy), Transactional Analysis, RPT (Rapid Personal Transformation), etc.
Professional Coach Certification from the International Coaching University in Moscow.
I started my private practice in 2016, which I continue to lead and enrich with new knowledge and experience.

UPDATE In my background, I have a career change, divorce, launching a business, remarriage, migration to America, adaptation, and the birth of a third child.
Upon moving to the USA, I had to start my life from scratch. I went through generalized anxiety disorder, compounded by isolation during the pandemic and the hormonal cocktail of pregnancy. All of this allowed me to enhance my flexibility and adaptability. I have experienced loss several times in my life and have gone through a kind of restart. As a result, I now have sufficient experience in overcoming crises that many of us face. In addtion to my education, this helps me to be a sufficiently empathetic and effective professional.
In 2016, I began my private practice, which I continue to cultivate with new knowledge and experiences.
Among my clients are office workers, stay-at-home moms, entrepreneurs, top managers, and most importantly, seekers and creative individuals.
My aim is to see more happy people around me, not just more affluent or status-driven individuals. I believe in our inherent wholeness. I see that traumas, beliefs, programming, and deficits (call them what you will) severely limit our ability to reach our full potential. My mission is to help navigate these limitations, restore personal integrity, foster self-worth, change environments if necessary, find suitable partners, and build a fulfilling and enriching life experience!

I have worked with Katerina several times for short-term issues related to the challenges of divorce and housing. It was a very painful separation following quite abusive relationships. I found myself unable to communicate with people, lacking desire for anything, lacking energy for my children and work, feeling like everything was hopeless, wanting to shut myself away in a dark room and never come out.
Katerina creates an amazingly comfortable and nurturing atmosphere that helps to open up and experience difficult emotions and states. She has a vast toolkit of techniques, so she can work gently and professionally on various traumas. After working with her, I was able to return to my usual active state, stopped isolating myself from people, and could openly and easily communicate and build relationships.
I feel that past experiences no longer negatively impact me; they have helped me emotionally mature, and I am very grateful to Katerina for her work and skill.

Katya was recommended to me by a close friend who was familiar with the challenges in my life. From the first meeting, Katya inspired deep trust in me as a professional and attentive conversationalist. Her extensive practice and experience led to significant positive shifts in my consciousness and interactions with my environment even after the first sessions. Katya is a psychologist you can easily trust and who is interesting to work with. She possesses profound professional knowledge, a subtle individual approach, and exudes a calm charm. Throughout my life, I have had to work with several experienced psychologists/psychoanalysts with 20-30 years of experience due to multiple relocations and the need to continue self-discovery and healing. Katya is in no way inferior to them in terms of quality and depth of work and, in some aspects, surpasses these specialists.

Katya is a wonderful professional psychologist with an ecological approach. Our sessions always proceed remarkably comfortably and at a depth that I am ready to explore. Katya gently and carefully helps expand my comfort zone and illuminate what I cannot see on my own. This increases my awareness both during and beyond our sessions. I am pleased with the results of our work and wholeheartedly recommend Katya.

I've been searching for a specialist who takes a comprehensive approach to personal development, and I'm happy that I found Katya 🥰. We worked on releasing tension and blocks in my body, and as a result, my body feels much better. Katya introduced me to breathing practices that I now use every day to calm down or energize myself. Our sessions have become one of the most important ways for me to show care and love for myself. ❤️🔥🫶🥰

I invited Katya to an event to lead a group yoga and meditation session with a circle of women. It was interesting to experience Kundalini yoga for the first time. The yoga session was quite intense physically, but what really stood out were the sensations during the meditation. It felt like something inside me relaxed deeply, almost having brought me to tears with an extraordinary feeling. The participants enjoyed this experience, and we are planning the next gathering!

I had numerous issues when I started working with Katerina, who wisely suggested that we begin with the most important one - navigating through separation. We had several sessions, and thus began my journey towards self-discovery. This practice allowed me to uncover my true desires, shed feelings of guilt and resentment, and take responsibility for my life.
Our work continued with my expression as a woman. Thanks to our practices, fears of being noticed or standing out disappeared. I stopped feeling ashamed of my femininity and no longer carried guilt for receiving attention from men.
Another significant area we addressed with Katerina was professional development in a new field for me. After obtaining a second degree and transitioning to a new career path, I had long been plagued by imposter syndrome. I felt inadequate and inexperienced to pursue the profession I had dreamed of since childhood. Thanks to sessions with Katerina, I gained the energy to pursue my personal goals, which had previously been spent trying to meet others' expectations.
I am grateful to Katerina for her sensitivity, professionalism, and profound understanding of her helping profession.

Short-term therapy is typically aimed at resolving a specific issue or problem and often involves 5-10 sessions. Coaching methods, symbol drama, and RPT (Rapid Personal Transformation) are effective in this context.
Kundalini Yoga combines physical exercises, breathwork, mantras, and chanting. Through these practices, individuals can overcome internal limitations, unlock their potential, and find the right path towards realizing their aspirations.
The effectiveness of using game-based techniques to improve emotional states has been demonstrated by researchers from the United States.
Further details
Short-term therapy is typically aimed at resolving a specific, isolated problem and usually consists of 5-10 sessions. This approach utilizes coaching methods, symbol drama, and RPT (Rapid Personal Transformation).
Long-term therapy, on the other hand, aims to change the client's personality structure. It involves a deeper exploration of the roots of problems, working with details of biography, relationships, behavioral and cognitive patterns. The primary method here involves examining transference and countertransference as well as analyzing the relationship dynamics between the therapist and client. The healing occurs through this therapeutic relationship, which effectively rewrites the dysfunctional or destructive relational patterns formed in childhood. The duration of this therapy depends on the number of "conflict zones" or issues being addressed.
Long-term therapy typically lasts 12-18 months, during which neural pathways in the brain are rewired, forming a new neural circuit.
Cost: One session: $70 Package of 10 sessions: $600

Arcana - these are the fundamental archetypal images, energies that influence all spheres of a person's life.
Carl Jung believed that each individual came into the world with a pre-existing imprint of personality, and the surrounding environment only reveals certain aspects of this imprint. He referred to this blueprint as the collective unconscious.
The collective unconscious is based not on the personal experiences of an individual but on the accumulated experience of society over a long evolutionary development. It contains all the psychological needs of a person, ranging from sexual desire to the need for respect, friendship, recognition, and so on. Jung referred to these as archetypes, believing that they are the sources of a person's goals, motives, aspirations, drives, and desires.
Archetypes are innate psychological predispositions encoded in the brain from birth. Unlike instincts, they are based on cultural values reflected in fairy tales, myths, legends, religions, etc. Jung noted that archetypes are universal units of the collective unconscious, not dependent on national, religious, or geographic characteristics. They are inherent in all humans without exception.
An archetype is a kind of heroic image with a specific set of values and a tendency to act in a certain way.
Arcana reflect specific archetypes and have their own interpretation analogous to the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck. They can manifest in both positive and negative ways. They determine person's character, talents, and destiny. Knowing the meaning of personal arcana can help understand one's strengths and weaknesses, enabling greater effectiveness in various areas of life such as family, health, finances, etc.

Such games are called transformative because they help individuals not just entertain themselves, but explore their personalities, find answers to complex questions, and understand their own psychological issues, thereby changing their lives. "Lila" is one of the earliest and most popular games of this kind. In Hinduism, the concept of "lila" is crucial, representing the Divine play.
The game board of "Lila" consists of 72 cells interconnected by arrows and snakes. Each cell has a name, such as "Service," "Realization," or "Absolute Plan."
In Indian philosophy, it is believed that each person has chakras—primary energy centers in the body. These chakras are also present on the "Lila" board, and each time a player lands on a chakra cell, it indicates a need to consider how things are in the life areas symbolized by that chakra. For example, the throat chakra is linked to expression. When landing on this in the game, one should contemplate how well they assert themselves to others and what more they can do to enhance this skill.
Players move from one board cell to another, exploring designated emotions, internal states, and philosophical concepts, reflecting on how they can be applied in real life and their potential usefulness.
The goal of the game is to reunite individuals with their Higher Consciousness for more effective and conscious progress in their own lives.
Individual game - $200 Group game - $300 divided by the number of participants (up to 5 people)
